Central Catering Services Ltd is very particular in ensuring that all aspects of Health and Safety are to the highest standards ensuring the welfare of customers and staff is considered at all times.
Health & Safety Mission Statement.
The Company places considerable importance on health, safety and welfare in the workplace and in particular, the identification of risks associated with any of its working practices. Safe systems of work are derived from risk assessments, which will be continually reviewed, monitored and updated as necessary for any specific individual task. The safety of employees, contractors, sub-contractors and all others who may be affected by the company activities is of the greatest importance to the Directors and the company as a whole in its mission to provide safe, high quality bar and catering services to entertainment and sport.
The Directors and others, who are able to influence policy, such as managers, Heads of Departments and appointed agents, will contribute to the company’s mission to regularly monitor and review all aspects of Health & Safety with the aim of developing and maintaining a safe and healthy working environment. Regular monitoring of suppliers, coupled with the company’s ongoing management and staff training programmes, regular office and site inspections and departmental talks delivered by Heads of Departments continually sustain the company’s drive and ambition for safer working practices.
All office areas are inspected regularly and safety audits will be carried out to identify any potential risks and hazards which may reflect on any working practices carried out. All office and remote operational issues, such as complying with other remote facilities Health & Safety policies, procedures and requirements will, where possible, be analysed to ensure the safety of all company employees working in those areas. Any appropriate information will be communicated to all employees, whether contracted or employed by the company.

As part of its ongoing commitment to the continuing professional development of employees all permanent operational staff currently hold nationally recognised Level 2 qualifications in Health & Safety in the Workplace and the Principals of Manual handling. At management level staff hold both NEBOSH and IOSH qualifications.
All permanent operational staff hold ‘Front line’ SIA Door Supervision licences and also Personal Licences issued under the relevant licensing law in both England & Wales (Licensing Act 2003) and Scotland (Licensing Act 2005).
